As part of the EELISA Project, Université PSL is organizing a summer school with the support of the Jean Monnet programme, in view of introducing students to European policies on Sustainable Development Goals.
The focus of the Summer School will be SDG 11, “Sustainable Cities and Communities”, one of EELISA’s declared priorities. The aim of these 2 weeks of activities and classes is to familiarize you with the following outcome targets: safe and affordable housing; affordable and sustainable transport systems; inclusive and sustainable urbanization; protecting the world's cultural and natural heritage; reducing the adverse effects of natural disasters; reducing the environmental impacts of cities; providing access to safe and inclusive green and public spaces. You will earn 4 ECTS by following this course, interact with French students and students from all EELISA participating institutions, and further your understanding of environmental challenges.
In this context, Université PSL invites 2 students involved in an EELISA community to participate in the Summer School, which is planned to take place from June 27 to July 8, 2022. You should be a 2nd year Bachelor’s and/or 1st year Master’s Level student to be able to participate. Your travel and daily costs should be covered by Erasmus + KA 1 funding; Université PSL will cover all tuition and application costs for EELISA students, and offer logistical support from their Welcome Desk.
