What is LÖKAP-E?

These are research projects created to encourage students registered in our university’s undergraduate and graduate programs to participate in EELISA communities and to increase research activities related to these communities. The projects aim to contribute to the training of scientists by supporting research, collaboration, and project development activities in line with the goals of EELISA Communities.

Obtain an EELISA Event Acceptance Letter

Contact the ITU EELISA Office to receive an acceptance letter from the event you wish to attend. This document is required for the first approval. You can access EELISA opportunities via this link.

Form Your Project Team

Applications may be made by a student’s departmental advisor, an academic member of an EELISA community, a club/project team advisor, or an EELISA department coordinator.

Join EELISA Communities

Ensure that all team members complete the prerequisite EELISA community membership for the application. You can find detailed information on EELISA Communities via this link.

Fill in the Mobility Evaluation Form

Complete the LÖKAP-E / ITU EELISA Mobility Evaluation Form in full and submit it to the ITU EELISA Office.

Wait for the Evaluation

The ITU EELISA Office will review your application and inform you after the evaluation.

Congratulations! This letter from the ITU EELISA Office shows that your application is deemed suitable to apply for a LÖKAP-E project.

Prepare Your Project

Before the event, define project details with your team. Ensure the event contributes to your project’s purpose and the community’s goals.

Fill in the LÖKAP-E BAP Application Form

Once approved, complete the official LÖKAP-E BAP application form.

Upload Documents to BAPSIS

Together with the project supervisor, upload all forms and required documents to the ITU BAPSIS portal.

Wait for the Results

Your application will undergo final evaluation by the BAP Coordination Unit. The outcome will be communicated via email.

Project Details and Conditions

💰Support & Duration

  • Project Budget: 75.000 TL

  • Conference Support: Available

  • Scholarship Support: Not available

  • Interim Report: Not required

  • Project Duration: Up to 12 months

📋Application Requirements

  • Students taking part in the project must have at least a 2.00 GPA at the time of application.

  • Project team members must be members of at least one EELISA community.

  • The project supervisor must be a faculty member or a researcher who has completed a PhD / Proficiency in Arts.

  • At the time of application, an acceptance letter from an EELISA institution, proof of community membership approval, and required documents must be submitted.
