To bring the knowledge generated in EELISA to the broader public while making EELISA a vibrant forum for innovation and Europe, and the world, a better place. These are the main goals of this monthly lecture series that will give the stage to our best EELISA researchers and innovators to discuss the possibilities, risks, and opportunities of technology for sustainable development.
Each session will be hosted by a different EELISA institution and streamed to the world via media channels from Madrid, Paris, Pisa, Erlangen, Nuremberg, Budapest, Bucharest, or Istanbul.
This series will be developing various appealing formats such as:
(1) panel discussions where EELISA scientists discuss current socio-technological developments with leaders from science, industry, and politics, but also with students and participants of civil society;
(2) live talks by EELISA researchers and innovators who provide first-hand insights into pressing questions of cutting edge technological developments;
(3) live interviews with EELISA researchers, innovators, start-ups, and founders who have made a great contribution to changing the world
(4) any other interactive format like fishbowl discussions, science slams, or bar camps aiming at a younger audience and established with strong involvement of young scientists.
All sessions will allow participants to pose their questions and EELISA Communities – and in particular the results from challenges – will be the main source to feed this activity.
For whom?
Students, researchers, innovators, or citizens interested in the technological challenges of our time.
