The EELISA European University Project, supported by the European Union Erasmus+ Program “MainAction-2 Cooperation for Innovation and Exchange of Good Practices-European Universities” is moving to a new stage in its second year.
An increase in the level of research cooperation between the nine project partners is expected to rapidly increase in the coming months with the start of innoCORE in June, the innovation and research part of the EELISA European University. Project partner institutions will apply to numerous European Union projects together; many of our ITU researchers have already started making project applications together with academics from the EELISA universities.
Increasing the level of readiness of ITU researchers towards writing and managing EU projects with the support of both our European Union Research Office and ITUNOVA TTO is one of the priorities of the ITU EELISA European University team. Plans are also in place to organize supporting events together with the relevant departments of the European Commission within the scope of the EELISA-innoCORE project.
At this point, bringing project coordinators and researchers together who wish to get involved in the projects is thought to be one of the best ways to gather the know-how of the experiences and lessons learned within the scope of the projects, also optimizing the project work.
In this framework, an event is planned, titled “EELISA Experience Sharing I: Writing and Managing European Union Projects - Lessons Learned”.
The event was held online on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, with the participation of our researchers who write and carry out projects for the European Union Framework Program and Erasmus+ Program.
