The EELISA communities are mission-driven working groups that bring
together students, teachers, and researchers from all partner
universities with prestigious professionals, grassroots organisations,
citizens, private companies, and public institutions to find
innovative solutions to real-world challenges.
As part of the EELISA European University several
communities have been founded by the EELISA members and new ones will
be added soon. The total number of communities of EELISA project
is limited and timing is important.
While many ITU members already take roles in the existing EELISA
communities, it is also critical to lead the foundation of new
communities, since joint-community calls will be published soon and
the activities of the communities will be funded by the EELISA budget
to ensure that EELISA communities can sustain their teaching and
research activities. Accordingly, as the ITU EELISA team, we invite
you to get in touch with EELISA academics/researchers and lead the
foundation of new communities, in addition to joining the existing ones.
Unlike many other international projects, the EELISA European
University project is a very dynamic process, where 9 universities
from 7 countries conduct pilots, develop prototypes, and learn
together to create an innovative European University model. Due to the
huge amount of daily information flow, we are designing an 'ITU EELISA
Engagement Board' which will allow us to share more efficiently the
daily progress and various EELISA opportunities with you. Please note
that we will be continuously updating the following
Miro Board until
the end of the EELISA project. This is part of our efforts to make
EELISA an 'Open Project' that allows any motivated ITU member to be
part of.
Please visit the board (blue row) to see the process of starting a
new EELISA community.
