What a year for EELISA!
 

 
We’re looking back at some of the standout moments that shaped our Alliance this year, from new programmes and strategic milestones to key trainings and the continued expansion of EELISA activities across partner institutions.
 
 
 
January
 

 
Now, let’s take a closer look at this year’s ITU-focused EELISA highlights. ITU hosted the “Technology Diplomacy” Workshop, bringing together experts to explore the role of universities at the intersection of technology, diplomacy, and international cooperation.
 
 
February
 

 
EELISA announced its 5th Joint Call, offering a total funding of €140,000 to support collaborative initiatives in education, research, and innovation.
 
 
 
March
 

 
ITU students achieved a notable success in Madrid by standing out with their sustainability-focused projects at an EELISA Communities' challenge.
 
 
April
 

 
EELISA took part in the ITU Spring Career Summit, promoting opportunities and presenting the Career Ambassadors Programme to students and companies.
 
 
 
May
 

 
Our Rector participated in the EELISA Governing Board meeting in Paris, contributing to strategic discussions on the Alliance’s priorities and future direction.

ITU students returned with awards from the 3rd EELISA Science Competition, showcasing strong performance in research, innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Alongside coordination meetings, this season featured student activities including summer schools, challenges, and hackathons, and we share a brief selection of highlights and other key developments.

EELISA launched its 6th Joint Call, allocating a total budget of €150,000 to support new collaborative projects across education, research, and innovation.

The EELISA Career Ambassadors Programme was officially launched, aiming to strengthen student engagement and peer-to-peer career support throughout the Alliance.

Our Rector assumed the Chair role, as EELISA defined its future roadmap and brought partners together to shape the Alliance’s strategic priorities for the coming years.

In December, ITU chaired EELISA’s first sustainability panel, bringing together academic and student voices to discuss pathways toward a more sustainable future.
