Our Students are in Budapest for the EELISA Student Scientific Competition

Our students who participated in the second EELISA Science Competition held on June 10-11 at Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME), one of ITU’s EELISA partners, received awards for the research they conducted.

ITU students presented their research in various fields at the second EELISA Student Scientific Competition hosted by BME with the participation of EELISA European University students. The winners and honorable mentions were determined through an evaluation.

While our student Mehmet Orhan Şirin was awarded the second prize in the field of Applied Sciences, honorable mentions were given to İrem Esen in the field of Architecture, Ozan Demirel in the field of Social Sciences, and Ahmet Turan Akçay in the field of Automatization. Our students received their awards from EELISA President Dale Martin.

Our students stated that thanks to the EELISA Student Scientific Competition, they had the opportunity to meet and exchange experiences with other students conducting research in different fields.

The competition provides the students an opportunity for challenge-based learning through research activities and valuable support to advance their research endeavors. With this blend of academic rigor and practical application, EELISA’s aim of transforming the future of higher education and industry is highlighted.

The competition, which is expected to become a tradition in the coming years, covers the fields of Social Sciences, Chemical and Bioengineering, Applied Sciences, Architecture, Informatics, Applied Informatics, Medicine, Automatization, Smart Production, Innovative Mobility.
