Istanbul Technical University (ITU) EELISA student representatives attended the EELISA Student Council Meeting held on April 5-7, 2024, and shared their experiences and opinions. The EELISA Student Council Meeting held at Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM) was attended by ITU EELISA Student Club President Aybükenur Şahin and ITU EELISA Student Representative Semanur Arpacı on behalf of ITU.
The meeting focused on the institutionalization of EELISA and student mobility. At the meeting where the dynamic structure of the Student Council was discussed, our student representatives had the opportunity to share their experiences and opinions with students from our EELISA partners.
The EELISA Student Council Meeting provides an opportunity for students to contribute to the development of the EELISA European University model. Apart from student contributions, students coming from different EELISA universities also highlight international collaboration and the impact of student engagement.
Our students will represent ITU at the EELISA Governing Board, Executive Board, Work Package Leaders and Student Representatives meetings, which will take place at our EELISA partner Friedrich-Alexander University (FAU) on May 22-24, as a continuation of the EELISA Student Council Meeting.
