The ITU EELISA team held a meeting with the Istanbul Mineral and Metals Exporters’ Association (IMMIB). Opportunities to work together on European Union projects, university-industry collaboration and student projects with ITU and the other EELISA institutions were discussed.
IMMIB consists of six associations from various sectors to increase exports and improve foreign trade in coordination with the interest of the nation. These associations consist of the Mineral Exporters’ Association – Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals Exporters’ Association, Electrical and Electronics Exporters’ Association – Chemicals and Products Exporters’ Association, Jewelry Exporters’ Association – Steel Exporters’ Association. IMMIB member companies have approximately 30,000 active members altogether and exports over 100 billion dollars.
