Although the laboratory title emphasizes high temperature heat transfer, our research activities extend to several related areas, including refrigeration system modeling and experimental investigations of refrigeration systems, studies of boiling heat transfer phenomena, and energy consumption analysis of cooking devices involving radiation, convection, and conduction.
The laboratory provides a well-equipped experimental workspace with advanced measurement and diagnostic facilities, including data acquisition systems, experimental apparatus, precision measurement instruments, a high-speed camera, a thermal imaging camera, and spectrophotometric equipment. Many of our research projects are carried out in collaboration with industry and are supported by industrial partners.
The research team currently consists of two faculty members, two PhD students, and typically three to four undergraduate students who actively contribute to ongoing research projects.
